Finally got the game today, but I'm extremely disappointed by Takealot's bad service. You used to be able to count on them. Guess the Kalahari merger brought more harm than good.

have you had a chance to try the game out ? I am LOVING it! still trying to get comfy with the wingsuit, but i think it will start to click after a while

It's busy installing, but we're having rough weather here now so I expect our power to go out any minute. :(

So people have they improved the driving because I like to drive around in these open world games. The second games driving was bad.

I wouldn't buy the game for the driving. With keyboard mouse it's not bad but it's not great either. I would rather fast travel, or even better, wingsuite and parachute.

Ok so it seems the driving is not good.I just don't understand why the driving gets no love I mean Mad max's driving was decent.Mad max is a very underrated game.

Turns out there’s a very good reason Just Cause 3 is full of cars and planes and choppers and grappling hooks and parachutes: its map is enormous.

Reader Conor—who suffers through this kind of thing for your enjoyment—plotted the farthest distance across land in Just Cause 3’s map and started strolling (and occasionally swimming).

It took him an astonishing 8 hours, 40 minutes to do it. For reference, it took him 56 minutes to traverse Fallout 4, and under five hours to get across five Grand Theft Auto games. I know movement speed and player size are important factors in that beyond just raw map size, but still, eight hours. Man.

8 hours of copy and paste. "whistling:

So then by that, does it mean you're not enjoying it as I know you're not a fan of the repetitive gameplay model.

It's okay, my favourite part of the game is actually the challenges. The large world is cool, technically, but mostly pointless.

I'm really enjoying this game, not as much as Mad Max (yet), but still having a good time with it. Found the highest spot in the game yesterday and wingsuited down from it, I was airborne for almost 4 minutes IIRC, it was awesome. I also really like just messing around with the grappling hook and stuff. It's a lot of fun just creating your gameplay, e.g. tether two (or more) cars together and drive off a cliff or park two cars next to each other and race them using booster explosives.
