Apologies if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't find anything.

So the game (finally) got its first teaser today. Sadly there is no gameplay yet, but at least we now know more or less when to expect the game.


I cannot wait for this game, absolutely loved JC2. One of the most fun sandbox games I have ever played and I'm pretty sure JC3 will improve on everything just like JC2 did for the first game. Rico is coming back baby!!! :D

Didn't you find JC2 fun? Man, I loved that game. Played the demo for like 12 hours before I even got my hands on the full game and I've since played a ton of hours on both PS3 and PC. PC is especially fun with all the awesome mods that are available. I even liked the B grade story and voice acting. Will definitely be picking up JC3 on release, but if there is a demo this time I will skip it.
 
Looks pretty awesome. Never got around to playing the second one unfortunately. Looking forward to the first gameplay trailer.
 
Can't wait for this, loved the first 2 and this looks to be even better. I'm sure the world will be even bigger and better this time. The wing suit looks awesome, will definitely have to make the map a bit bigger for that I think.

Also it seems they were really emphasizing on the destruction in the teaser which is epic, hope they give it a really good destruction system (something like Red Faction Guerrilla maybe?)

Yeah the explosions in Just Cause (esp JC2) have always looked incredible and a more destructable environment added with those amazing explosion special effects would be insanely awesome! In addition to the new wingsuit the game will now also feature multi-grapple allowing you to grapple more than two objects/enemies together. I'm going to have so much fun with just that system alone. Can't wait! :D
 
Ah man. I got into JC2 at one stage and never finished it. I think that was when my ps3 HDD died on me. I must download it again and have a go at finishing it
 
Looks great! They released those screens a while ago though, saw them on Neogaf.

I hope they include an online mode like the mod for JC2 this time 'round. The game looks gorgeous, I just hope it's fun too play to. For me, JC2 got - for lack of a better word - a bit samey after a while.

It was fun for a bit and then it became insanely repetitive. I was one of the few who agreed with Tarryn's review here on MyGaming.

Aah ok. Sure it was pretty repetitive (like pretty much all games), but for me it was the right kind of repetitive. I just never got tired of grappling enemies to walls/behind my vehicle and then exploring the environment using my parachute and grappling hook. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
 
I never actually got into JC2. Sure, everything seemed fun and quite polished, but it never sucked me in. It just seemed TOO chaotic. I prefer a bit of order and realism in my games.

Gameplay reveal coming tomorrow:

The official Just Cause Twitter account on Friday posted a teaser video that concludes by saying the gameplay reveal trailer for Just Cause 3 will be released next Tuesday, April 28.

yes, it does look like more of the same, but that for me is a good thing. I loved JC2 because of the outrageous action and game play. So if JC3 is the same with more tools, better graphics and an even worse over-the-top story, then sign me up!

Also, what's wrong with more of the same? JC2 is probably the most fun open world game I have ever played so more of that will be awesome.
