I need some help.

I want to get myself a gaming keyboard, it has to have a red backlight for the keys.

I found 1 - Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Gaming Keyboard - my friend has one and he swears by it. Now, my question is have any of you had one of these keyboards and what did you think and might there be something else I can look at because I have scoured the internet for keyboards and haven't found anything else.

Also I am thinking of getting myself the Razor Naga Molten (Red)

It looks quite nice and I mainly play RPG games & Guild Wars & the other games might also benefit from a few extra buttons.

The Microsoft Sidewinder X4 is another option, it doesn't have the detachable keypad tho...
Still an awesome keyboard, ive been using mine for almost 2 years now..i like it much more than my logitech g11

I recently received a X4 as a test unit and must say, it's kak compared to my G15. I'm not tallking about the lack of screen or even the macro keys, just the feel of the X4 feels off. Give me logitech anyday thanks.

+1

I've been using mine for 2 years also. Makes me very happy, with it's low profile keys and no ghosting. It's a heavy and large keyboard though.

hey

I have the Razr Naga (same one as the picture). Epic mouse. Love it.

Also have this keyboard: SteelSeries Merc Stealth

Backlight levels and colours can be set (red/blue/purple)
Very nice KB!

Got both from take2 for under 1k (3 or so months ago, they are a bit more expensive now)

I am sorry but that steel series above looks absolutely awful imo.
I quite like the look of the logitech g110 http://www.pcgameshardware.com/scre...Logitech_G110_Gaming_Tastatur_Keyboard_04.JPG. I was once contemplating between the mx518 and logitech g110 combo and the x5 and x6 combos. They were the same price. Ended up upgrading my computer though.
I currently have the logitech media kb with a roccat kova. Love my mouse, kb has served me well but I do need to move up a level with that though. Will do so soon.

How can you compare them? lol
That's like comparing my G19 to a Razer Lycosa...

Not a fan of Razer, have heard many a bad story. BUT then again their pricing is damn good, so I guess it boils down to you get what you pay for.

I am a logitech fan, but you pay a premium for their stuff. Is it worth it? Probably.

I have recently become a fan of the Cyborg range. The RAT7 is the best mouse I have owned. Their KB looks pretty cool, can't comment on quality though. I am getting myself the Cyborg flight stick which also looks wicked.

Really it all comes down to personal choice.

From what I have heard, logitech offer very good customer service should any problem arise. So in other words the warranties on the products are very good.

Can't fault Logitech on anything.

3 to 5 year warranties on their products are epic and no questions when you take it back, they give you a new one of the same model or the replacement model if it's no longer available.

yep and sometimes you score an even better one. WIN

I have had batteries "leak" in my Logitech mouse twice. Both times the CPT suppliers have swapped it out for me with a newer model (after I clean all traces of battery acid "whistling:)
