Kickstarter pushing for Leisure Suit Larry return

Why would you play a remake of a linear puzzle game though? We already know all the puzzles, and those we have forgotten we will remember soon enough.

Why not just make a new game altogether, but in the vein of the old games and not the latest ones?
 
I wouldn't mind a remake of all the Larry games done by Al Lowe. When I played number 1, I was too young to understand what the heck I was doing, and by the time I got my hands on all the larry games, their graphics were way too dated. Everything looked like moving blops.
So only Larry games I played were 6 and 7 and if I remember correctly, Al Lowe wasn't involved after that and they basically just went downhill from there.

A new game would be great though... just don't get EA involved as they might try to convert it into a FPS :)
 
I never got the opportunity to play the Larry games, so I'm eager to find out what all the fuss was about.
