I have had someone steal my cigarette out my hand while I was busy smoking it.
I was standing outside Cavendish having a cigarette when this guy runs up, grabs the cigarette out my hand and runs off.
I felt absolute bewilderment when it happened and still chuckle at the thought of this stealing the cigarette out my hand, bloody bastard lol.

My problem is not the value of the theft. My issue is that we have now reached a stage were people are taking time out to search the internet for people that they are planning to rob. What kind or world is this that we are now planning our mugging victims. What's next, criminals doing door to door surveys so they can plan their house robberies, asking to borrow your phone just so they can value it and then decide to rob it.

Last year I sold a laptop and iphone over the internet via sites like Junkmail and gumtree....holleeee crap, I felt like I was in Nigeria with the amount of crap ppl wanted to pull.
"I send courier over now, where are you?" riiiiiiiiiiiiight, the kind that asks you with a gun to your head?
The one guy phoned, I told him, I have already said I would sell it to someone else. He said he'll give me more for the phone, a ridiculous amount for an iPhone 4. Asked what else I have for sale, he'll take that too.
You could hear from the accents not all with South African.
The absolute last time I use either of those services for tech sales. Makes me de moer in for trying to cheat me.
I think they are already doing that, taking a stroll through a neighbourhood to see what kind of car you drive or whats in your garage.
