i would not say it will become exactly like the mouse, but it would be great sitting on your couch and tell the thing what you want, just going to be a problem for those that are speaking boere engels lol

I think he has a point, granted that he might have overstated himself. The Kinect is very cool and some awesome stuff can be done with it (mostly stuff that has nothing to do with the Xbox), just Google (hehehehe, name dropping) some of the experiments that have been made using the device.
At the moment, a lot of people aren't very keen on it, since the titles available for the device seem a bit childish. But so much more can be done with it. A while ago, myself and a user name matt had a conversation of what can be done with the Kinect and how it can be used "better" by developers. Here is a link to the thread if anyone is interested. Incidentally, the thread also revolved around the Neux and Kinect.
