Kinect wants to sell you stuff

There's this amazing anti-spying tool made for the Kinnect 2.0. It's called a cloth. When you don't want the Kinnect to spy on you, application of said device is easy. Simply unfold it, and cover the Kinnect. Side-effects include a dust free Kinnect 2.0

@fooz: The new box freaks out if you cover it afaik.

Is anybody else imagining this with that verimark guy trying to sell you a knife while your making dinner.

Bear in mind though that this will only apply to things that you can actually buy or rent on the Microsoft store. So that only applies to movies, games, music, apps and TV shows. Still, I expected something like this to happen when the console was announced because it's designed to make Microsoft a lot of profit.

This is a frightening invasion of privacy. I wouldn't want some random stranger coming to my house and scanning the items that I own. I think it's terrifying that people are willing to let this into their homes and that Microsoft thinks that it's ok to do this.
