I've never played it, this is why I ask. Will there be story or other elements that will carry over from one game to the next?
Isn't this a turn based game as well?
Seems Eugene and I are the only ones excited for this.I never finished the original. I played it at launch and encountered a game-breaking bug after about 60 hours of playtime. By the time it got fixed I had lost interest. Plus my older PC would spontaneously combust every time I tried to start it. At least now I've got a new GPU that can handle the new version and its improved visuals.
But my download is going to take about 13 hours, and I have to schedule it between 12 and 6am. I thought Telkom were upgrading 2Mbit/s accounts to 4Mbit/s this year? "whistling:
Going to give the new Tactician mode a try when I start playing. It looks nice and challenging.

I've been keeping an eye on it all along.. Money's been tight, so it'll have to be on a big special, but I'll definitely get it someday! Has anyone tried the controller support? Does it play well with one?
Reviewers and players on other forums say yes, the new UI works remarkably well with a controller.![]()

Yeah, I'm hoping I can resist that long.
Next problem is, PC or PS4 or Xbone?!
Pc gives you the ability to use a xbox controllerbest of both worlds
minus the comfy couch and the lounging horizontal body positioning.
mind you I could push the lazyboy in front of the PC - but then again, 27" vs 46" screen![]()
You could also push your PC to your 46" screen. "whistling:![]()
