Kung Fury, the crowd funded 80s Kung Fu cop parody, has finally been released. On Youtube and for free, as promised.

Here it is:


At time of writing it has been watched 5.3m times in the space of two days.
I watched it last night and it has invigorated my soul, lifted my spirits and made me grow a third testicle.

I've watched it 4 times already now and I'm sure I'll watch it a bunch more times. The first time was the best 30 minutes of my life.

When the whole VHS banding/stretching and skipping the of the important fight scene came up, I laughed so much I lost track and had to start over.
 
Greatest movie release of the year. If not of all time.

If this doesn't get nominated for 17 Oscars then I know it's just a bunch of political posturing that has no intention to recognise creative genius, completely devoid of integrity.

Very sad I didn't hear about it during the Kickstarter stage.
 
I think I enjoyed this better because I experienced 80's stuff first hand, lol. It was like Double Dragons came to life and took lsd :D
