They where not killed bec of their religion. They where killed because they where thought to be inferior race.;)
P.S My step grandfather was Jewish and his father and mother survived the holocaust.

It was the soviet union that would kill you if you where caught practicing religion;) or sent to a prison camp.

P.S Your wiki article did not state they where killed for what they worshiped. They killed bec they where JEWISH. Which they are there own people.

Like being a Christian means you are a follower of Christ.
I am a Christian , I can be a Jew if I wanted to be one , Id just have to make that choice.

Not actually. You can be a Jew in terms of you being Jewish (akin to being a Christian) but unlike Christianity, Judaism is not something you can readily convert to. They believe that they are 'a chosen people', keep themselves separate and thus represent a distinct subpopulation. Why do you think they have breeding programs in the US for Ashkenazi Jews? They have inbred to the point where many recessive disorders are quite common and thus to ensure that they don't have an afflicted child, each prospective mate needs to be screened.

The Nazi believe that they were undermenschen. You seem to forget the Nazi's hated blacks, gypsies and Catholics. It wasn't so much about religion as it was about racial purity, and creating the master race.

You can convert to Judaism, and if you do so then you are considered a Jew ;).
I know because a friend of mine (South African) went over to Israel and while he was there converted to Judaism. He is now considered by followers of Judaism and the government as a Jew. He nationality is not Jewish but he is a Jew (Odd, I know).

On topic, it's not unheard of that singers and bands have sold their souls (If you're the religious type), many singers actually claim that. You can also tell by the lyrics in their songs.

If you listen to the lyrics to some of their songs it leaves room to think hey, maybe...
