Lan servers

Hi Guys

Ive been playing around with the modern warfare 3 dedicated server tool and i was wondering if anyone else has managed to get it working. Mine keeps giving me a bandwidth error which i know is BS. and is it possible to do it without linking to the net (smartsteam maybe?)

Also, does anyone know how to make assassins creed brotherhood or revelations lannable? I heard brotherhood has been done but id like to get revelations working if possible... any ideas/help is much appreciated

Hi Panthis.

To be honest I have given up on trying to get certain games to work lan only. We had managed before to play MW2 on a lan, but every person had to be logged onto Steam with their own account. Gone are the days you can install the same copy on 4 machines and have a lan session with your mates.

The only work around I finally stuck with is to upgrade my internet speed and set up separate accounts for each game. It sucks but it works...

i Know what you mean dude and thanks for the feedback. It just sickens me that games arent lannable anymore. i know cause its because of the whole piracy thing... but sigh :/
