Hi

I want to start a list of SA LOL players, this can help to start a tourny of sorts or team friendlies

So leave your nick and zone, BELOW

Example of mine

Sardacxis
Zone: EU West <-- Better pings here

and

sardac666
Zone: US <--- mid - hi pings.

So let me know if this is good or bad idea.
 
I'm pretty sure there is a player list thread already but I can't seem to find the search function.

Also, why do people play on US when you get much better pings to EU?

Cause the EU was terrible, i wasnt willing to wait 15 mins in que to find a game.
I still dont see the difference in gameplay when playing on a 220 or 410 ping time to be honest.
I have a US and EU account, both servers have differences when playing the game.
I.e. ganking phase, jungling, that sorta stuff.
 
Describe it, not sure what you mean by lag?
between casting?
Between running?
is it that bad you cant play?

Its not like a FPS where a person is there one second and the next they are not.
 
You can feel the delay in issuing commands and having them happen, everything from moving to casting. It's not so bad I can't play but why would I choose to play with high latency when a low latency option is available.
 
when I first started playing last year December, I could only download the US version because of the Pando downloader system. So I went for the US version. But the pings where high as hell. Then I discovered ACE they made a standalone version of the European package, it can with lots of extras, but updates where always delayed by 1 day. Now after a long time of people complaining on the forums about one of the European servers patch that messed everything up, Riot released and update version of the original installer. Which one can use for all 3 regions.

The style of play from say US to Euro servers are different. Especially low level.

Dominion looks awesome. I think the format has been used in other games but I can think of what they are. The site has amazing imagery to it.

I'll assume you meant can't?

Well Dominion is the MOBA take on the control point game mode. Lots of games have modes based on this like Halo (King of the Hill), Gears of War (Domination), Battlefield (Conquest) even WoW has PvP battlegrounds which work off capture points.
