I also want to try it... i wont lie i dotn like the comicky look and feel but i have to try it before i properly judge

I really want to try this game just to see how different it is compared to Dota 2... I've heard good things.

I got into this game with a bunch of friends of a friend - I haven't been playing as much lately but it used to "one more game" "one more game" "gotta get win of the day" etc.

Haha yeah lol! To think I'm so bad at Lol that I sometimes don't get win of the day:wtf:

We all have days like that, it also depends on your team. You could be playing the best you've ever played and the rest of the team can lose it for you.

Buying tear of the goddess early on your first return to base is great!! Because Volley takes a lot of mana and it allows for spamming. I wouldn't agree with starting Doran's blade. Get boots and a pot. Followed by berserkers greaves and a bf sword after that. Then work on BT and then infinity edge. After that you should follow the guide :p

I say again just a suggestion but it works for me when I play ashe.

I don't know if tear is such a great starting item. I do agree with you that tear is great for spam, but it's not until later levels that volley's cooldown gets low enough for you to spam it so that you can max out tear and then upgrade to muramane. If you want some mana sustain, build Spirit of the Elder Lizard. Yes, it has recently been nerfed quite badly, but you can get the important parts (mana rengen, 2 swords) early and then finish it up later. The true damage, mana regen, and extra damage against monsters are super important once your team needs to start focusing on dragon and baron.

Dorans is a pretty good starting item on Ashe because of her 600 range. The only champ who starts off with more range than her is Cait, so it essentially give you free sustain if you need it.

Don't build attack speed early. Always go for damage early since it has far more impact during laning phase than attack speed. Also, attack speed is always secondary to damage (it's why you never see any ad carries build pure attack speed).

My Ashe build is dependent on who I'm laning against but is usually:

Usually Dorans (Sometimes boots and 4 pots if I'm against a cait who I think might be aggressive)

Then if I'm ahead:
BF sword
boots
finish infinity edge/berserkers greaves depending on cash flow
phantom dancer spirit of the elder lizard botrk etc.

If I'm behind:
some of the parts for spirit of the elder lizard
boots
finish spirit of the elder lizard
infinity edge
finish phantom dancer botrk etc.

These are the runes I run on my ad carries:

Armor (Glyphs)
+ 6.3
Damage (Damage seals and marks)
+ 12.3
Lifesteal (Quints)
+6%

Guides are useful to a point, but really you just need to play and learn what works and what doesn't.

It probably isn't the BEST choice for a starting item... But I found Volley in combination with frost shot for harassing works well but drains mana insanely fast.

You also forgot to mention that ashe is probably the slowest champ in the start and without boots she's pretty much dead if someone ganks mid. For that very exact reason I buy boots first. I just don't see +80 health helping all that much.

A great tip I found off a guide was that when you enter the lane before you start farming with ashe you shoot at the enemy champ first. You're guranteed a crit and that scares them shitless :p its a pretty basic tip and everyone probably uses it but I found it useful.

If someone manages to get that close to you bot lane without doing something like a ward + teleport/in-lane gank then you got bigger problems to worry about. If you don't have enough wards up to see a gank coming, you (yes, I always help ward bot lane as ADC) and your support need to do something about it. If for some weird reason you're playing Ashe mid then your starting items should include at least one ward (preferably two) to ward the river. Heck, if you're going Ashe mid that's even less reason to get boots because you should be warding up and not overextending unless it's completely safe.

Ash's passive was changed a bit recently (uses stacks now that don't reset unless you crit), but most people in ranked will see this coming and try to bait you and make you miss cs. You can try and ambush people with it but don't just charge at them. Camp in a bush or something if you want to get the crit off on an enemy champ.

Well now my comment just seems idiotic thanks :p

Didn't know her passive was changed :wtf: been playing the new champ and kha'zix recently.

Btw jungle aartrox is BEAST had my best game last night 22-3 I was very happy :D

I usually go Doran's > Crit > Attack Speed > Lifesteal first or depending on the matchup on my Ashe I dont stick to my build order.

If theres a lot of tank/support I go Armor penetration or Spellcasters I do the damage shield asap.

My damage sucks if I dont do crit first after doran.
