Lego Dimensions... ok I'm sold

Party time! Excellent!
Now normally I wouldn't look twice at a Lego game, just never appealed to me. Tried the Star Wars games, didn't do it for me. BUT, today I saw this...


now I don't know about you, but I'm a HUGE Back to the Future fan, so Doc Brown can shut up and take my money!
 
Meh... All the Lego games fall a bit flat for me... Probably the most enjoyable one i've seen was Lego : The Hobbit...

All in all tho this looks a little wishy washy from a story point of view... I mean was there any character we DIDNT see in that trailer?

Anything to do with Lego is amazing!
 
I don't think there's any doubt that Dimensions will get a mixed reception. The gameplay looks like it's not veering too far from the tried and tested, so if you're anywhere close to a serious gamer it may be a bit boring. Kids though will love it, easy gameplay, moderately challenging puzzles and tons of replay value. I've long since handed in my gamer card, so I like being able to jump in, play a level or 2 on co-op. My son drives us mad trying to get 100% off Lego Marvel & Batman 3.

I keep going to the site and rubbing my credit card on the screen but my order hasn't gone through yet. Asked Takelot if they have an ETA but nobody's gotten back to me yet. It's already cost me R5000, considering the shiny new PS4 hiding in the cupboard.
