Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust was one of the many titles that went into publisher limbo after Activision merged with Vivendi (the parent company of Sierra) and the new mega-publisher decided against publishing a number of the titles under Sierra's portfolio. It appears that Larry has found a publisher after all. Codemasters has added the game to its webpage with the news that it will release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this spring.

Box Office Bust has been rated Mature by the ESRB for all of the hallmarks of the series, including the descriptors Blood and Gore, Drug References, Mature Humor and Strong Sexual Content. This latest into the long-running franchise follows Larry as a movie mogul with a mole selling his secrets to a competitor. You play as Larry Lovage, his nephew, in an investigation to find the mole's identity.

The game features Hollywood voice actors Carmen Electra and Shannon Elizabeth and spoofs classic movies with rip-offs such as Beefcake Mountain.

Hopefully it'll be better than Magna cum laude. That game was more repetative than........ something really repetative..... :o

Gaming is getting released 7 April according to BT games schedule. Also has a nice R295 pre order price and R305 normal price.

I still remember my first encounter with Larry, I was young and got very excited ;-)

Larry taught me to hide an extra 100 bill in a secret compartment in my wallet. It's saved my butt countless times when I ran out of money and had the "backup cash" hidden away. :D
