Lemmings

The name says it all.

I remember when the game started, it had a disclaimer that said "we are not responsible for loss of hair, sleep, and sanity." One of the few games that can truly cause all of those.

I first played it on an Acorn machine, and the sound effects were much better than on the PC. You could clearly hear the "Let's Go", and the "Oh No!". The PC was just squeaks.

I spent many an hour trying to solve all those levels... all Pre-Google, so you had to figure them out by yourself, or amongst your friends. No YouTube guides or such.

The Lemming Tomato Ketchup Factory had this intense squirt of red and a gooey noise.
