LG brings world's first 21:9 panoramic monitor

This would be pretty cool BUT if it is straight you wouldnt really get the same effect as 3 monitors curving around, i think it would be kind of awkward with a really long straight screen.
 
Seeing as display technology is the only thing that really excites me these days, I almost got excited about this product. Unfortunately, I then noticed the vertical resolution of 1080, which means it's a normal 1920x1080 monitor that has been stretched side-ways. I agree that the prospect of a nice WIDE monitor is something to look forward to, but the resolution is not nearly high enough to persuade me away from my Dell 27" monitor which runs at 2560x1440.

So close LG, so close.
