LG wants sale of PS3 banned (lol)

Wow. These companies can be pretty damn immature. Half the patents I've seen people take up lawsuits over are ridiculous. Cryptic as Ancient Greek and can basically cover any subject whatsoever. I mean, seriously, I can understand patenting a specific idea, but 99% of it is just retarded.

But hey, gl hf right?
 
I say ban all devices that use the patents in question on both sides for a couple years, maybe that'll teach 'em to play nice.

Well considering how many exclusive PS3 has this year and how few Xbox has that would be pretty invalid :p hahaha

Seriously though LG is just shooting themselves in the foot :D who do they think buys their HDTVs?

People don't seem to compete in the market nowadays, they just try undermine each other's products.
It's like CellC and MTN attacking each other's advertising campaigns by reporting each other to the ASA recently
