Shirou the exact same thing happened to me a couple of year ago, unfortunately nothing you can do about it and I know you put a ton of work in on that specific server. The only positive that will come from this thread is that no one will play with these tards anymore. At least we now know whats going on and I will personally spread the word

@SnowWar, sorry for bringing this here in the first place i should have just left it.. but i tried solving this but no one tried speaking with me, and my version of the story kept being deleted on their forum, so after KFord advertised the server here i had no choice to put my version here as he tried to advertised my server i worked for day/night to get working as his own, ofc the mod is his but there goes alot more than just a single file you just copy/past on the end.

Thank you The Joker, really appreciate it, i just don't have the strenght for this any longer it feels like i lost a baby or something.. words can't describe it, i've been a zombie most days at work just for this server which is gone over night and taken from me.

It even disguss me that Gr8-White mentioned that amount of players which peaks currently with a smile on the face.. after i've gotten all those players in the first place.

I think my posts speak for themselves, and i am not too concerned with the responses you guys have shown, besides you don't walk into a community in a situation like this and expect to be welcomed with open arms.
I don't blame you guys one bit for sticking up for your members,and responding to the outsider in the way that you do.
The only thing i hoped to achieve is to let the truth be known. The information is available, do with it as you please.

I will say this though - there was a breakdown in communication and both parties handled that poorly, if their posts are to be believed.
There comes a point where someone needs to step up and be the bigger man. There will be loss of work and time, but there needn't be drama. Learn from it and move on.

As for the community, I'm sure it goes without saying that it's the individuals that make it; so all opinions are important, not just the ones that support one side over the other.

Hey Dead_Rebel, i tried my best to communicate with them but no chance was given the only communications towards me on the end was that morning telling me i am no longer a admin and a "F YOU" message on my server.

They did however tell me i can still play on the server and lead the police department which i took as a slap in the face, other than that no communications was made properly with the decisions they made on the end.

I wouldn't have weighed in, but when the description of the server you enjoy playing on directs you to this thread, all bets are off.

As an active member of the LifeMod community I feel that this situation was handled incorrectly. Various factors have been mentioned regarding the handling of the Shirou/Ford/LifeMod situation and I'm not going to give my opinion on that.

I am posting to simply state that the server is down with the following description, "It's now owned by betraiders, be carefull, full story on MyGaming.co.za". This is NOT acceptable. With or without Shirou the community will grow, and without pointing fingers this kind of intrusion on MY time and everyone else time is painfully annoying. I game to escape reality and enjoy my spare time, something that can't be done when people involve the community in disputes.

For the love of all things holy Shirou, move on. It's a bum deal, we understand Some of us still enjoy the server and what it has to offer though, and for that reason, we will stay.

Having been in this situation before I know for a fact that something like this damages the game badly.
People don't want to invest time in something that might get shut down or where things seem unstable.

I actually have to agree with this. Shit happened, but it's over now. There's nothing more that can be done about it, so move on. No need to keep involving the entire community in something that should have been resolved in private in the first place.

Edit: I'm also not sure whether you should be dragging MyGaming into this, even if it's only to point out that the thread is here. It might sound like MyGaming is getting involved in the whole spat.

For someone like The Joker thats been in the same situation as me, i am pretty sure he understands this, and for those who don't it's not simply something you forget and move on where you worked countless hours day and night on the server and paying out of your own pockets to get things going and time invested in advertising and getting the community growing and then someone just boots you from your own project you started and on the end someone else just moves on what you created which gotten a success and that person who created it all is just thrown out on the street like a abandoned dog.

If the admins/moderators from MyGaming think this is wrong they are more than welcome to lock/delete this thread, all i want is for my version to be posted here as i did advertise the server here in the first place, it was mentioned before that i tried to communicate privately and then publicly on their forums but my version just got deleted.. and i was just told to "F OFF" so i had no place to post my version but here for people to read.

On the end it's for everyone to decide If they still wannna play on the server where i am no longer part off and been kicked off like i was no one in the first place.. but thats their choice i won't hate anyone, all i want is for them to understand from my view point why i am no longer part of LifeMod, and not what have been told by the new "Owners" from the server.

There are much better Altis Life communities out there such as Black Wing Gaming, unfortunately they aint local which i tried to avoid by making my own server in the first place, but if someone is in search for another check them out http://blackwing.co.uk/ get a ping of 160 - 170ms and it's still playable.
