Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII revealed

A new battle system gives a level of direct control over the action unlike any FINAL FANTASY game, while having iconic elements that are known and loved throughout the series too.

This worries me greatly, the system from 12 and up was bad, change is sometimes bad mkay?

I've been playing the Final Fantasy series since FF:VII and honestly, the variation of the battle system always makes for an interesting twist on the gameplay. FF:X, whilst an epic story, the turn-based battle system greatly reduced the sense of immersion in the action. FF:XII's gambit system is probably the one I like most as it gives a sense of "reality" with party members being autonomous, has enemy interaction and also removes the freeze-frame before every battle. FF:XIII 'Auto-chain' button pretty much ruined the enjoyment of the battles in that game. So as long as they've moved away from that its got to be better!

Will teach me to add a pic like that...I was actually pointing out the pouring milk...as in they are milking FF into the ground.
