List your gaming rig specs + pics

Oooh nice, you have the new NZXT Kraken AIO! I was watching a video of it last night and it looks sexy af! Otherwise very nice setup, I'm also digging the white and blue. ;)

Yeah, I have 5 fans in my PC; well 6 if you count the fan in my PSU but since it's a be quiet! I don't. :p I have them all set to a silent profile as well and since I'm lucky enough to have AC in my room I don't have to bother with a faster profile.

The noisiest thing in my PC atm is actually my mechanical HDDs. Man, under load those things can make a fair amount of noise! :wtf: Otherwise I think I did post the specs for my Ryzen rig a while back but otherwise here they are again:

 • AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
 • Asus Crosshair VI Hero
 • No RAM (See Below)
 • XFX R9 Fury X (Patiently waiting for VEGA)
 • Corsair K70 Blue LED Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Red Switches
 • Samsung 960 Evo 500Gb M.2 NVMe SSD (Boot Drive)
 • Samsung 850 Evo 250Gb Sata HDD (Old Boot drive which I now use for a few games)
 • WD Black 3Tb (Main Game drive)
 • WD Red 3Tb (Miscellaneous & Media drive, it's a Red because it's on loan from my media server to replace my Green which failed)

I currently have no RAM because I had to RMA my RGB kit a second time due to problems with the RGB lights caused by the G.Skill/ Aura software corrupting the RAM's SPD data. As a result I've been put off by RGB and thus decided to special order the following non-RGB kit from Wootware: F4-3200C14D-32GTZSK. It's a little pricey but at least I'll be able to stick with 32Gb of RAM while also having a better chance of reaching 3200MHz (a speed sweetspot for Ryzen) thanks to its use of Samsung B-die memory chips.

The rest of my system is still pretty much the same as my other post back here; except for the fan in the corner which has been replaced with an Aux split-unit inverter.

Upgrades & Mods I have planned for the future are:

 • An extended mouse pad.
 • Replacing all my fans with Corsair Blue LED Maglev fans.
 • Replacing my headset with a Sennheiser HD600 & Antlion ModMic 5. This way I free up a PCIe slot and I'm pretty sure the onboard audio on the CH6 offers quality just as good as the Xense? I'm hoping I can sell my Xense sound card and the PC350 headset it comes with as a complete combo to fund a portion of this.
 • AMD Vega!!! :D
 • Custom DPP CableMod kit for my be quiet! PSU. I wanted to make a cable shroud for the bottom of my PC but I think if I get this I won't need to.

And something for way in the future which has been nagging at the back of my mind is doing a full custom water loop and possibly even running dual VEGAs so I won't have to worry about upgrading for A LONG time! I guess time will tell if I do this or not...

Very nice setup you have there.
If the Ryzen mobos were not so expensive, and if I did not have a top notch mobo already, I would have gone Ryzen!

Thanks a lot man. She is my pride and joy. 😊 And yeah, I'll admit I have quite the soft-spot for AMD and that I have been waiting for Zen Ryzen for a long time. In fact I've only had the system for a few months now but it was an upgrade from a more than 3 year old AM3 FX system so that's why I didn't mind splurging on the CH6 and now a better RAM kit as well. :p

I decided to skip Vega and replace my Fury X with the following:

The difference in performance is like night & day!

Nice. I'm saving up for an Aorus GTX 1080 TI Extreme at the moment, but it will take a while still. I'm going to buy it from Takealot with ebucks, so it will work out only costing me around R8500.
Hopefully at that time Volta hasn't come around and messed up my plans, however from what I've seen on the webs, Volta isn't coming any time soon.

Small upgrade on my side.
Ended up grabbing a set of Sennheiser Game Zero's from Rebel Tech
