Litecoin

Hey,

If there is anyone on here that deals with Litecoin trading,

How do you buy and sell your litecoin?
Where do you do it?

I've been dealing with Litecoin for a while now, and I would like to know if anyone has a better, easier way to do it.

Regards
Matthew

I usually sell Litecoin on the litecointalk forums, but I'm looking to do it quicker.. Having to wait on people with the current volatility of the coins is costing me.. So looking elsewhere..

OLX, everything sells

I thought you were joking, but there is actually someone selling :wtf:

Also knowing prerequisites would be nice, ie. ID number, banking details... what have you

I'm also curious about this. Thought about getting into it, but the fact that you will shorten your computers lifespan and your electricity bill will go up and will probably cause loadshedding in your area I've decided not too, still curious, I know a friend who does it and he now has 3 computers running 24 hours a day farming coins, haven't really asked him how it works exactly

I haven't actually noticed a big electricity increase while mining, it's minimal, and the income definitely outweighs the electricity costs.

Just be prepared to monitor your coin prices often, they are very volatile.. And it actually can get quite stressful sometimes, other than that it is a fun hobby

Oh.. And if your cards aren't watercooled, enjoy the noise :D

My buddy is doing this but meh. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the same way as bitcoin.

Apparently it may go that way, what with the introduction of ASIC scrypt miners..

Hopefully they find a way around the ASICS because they ruin it for everyone..

so how much do you farm +- in 24 hour cycle? Whats your PC specs (farming with Pc in sig?) And how much do you make +- if you dont mind me asking

I feel so ignorant when people talk about Bitcoins and Litecoins and 'farming' them :p. Seriously need to do some research into the topic as it all goes way over my head at this point. It seems so complex.

I have no idea how it works either. Always sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Im with you... Maybe someone could enlighten us? Iv heard its better to work in groups and "farm" together, not sure how true this is?

It's better to "mine" in a pool, as the chances of finding a block are next to nothing alone, so you'll never make a cent whereas in a pool you get paid for shares you do

Interesting....

A while ago a client's server got hacked, and a bitcoin miner was installed on the server. We found and killed it, but yeah, imagine getting shite load of servers out there that can mine for you...

I've heard of that happening before.

I want to get my school computers to mind :P but they'd catch on very quickly
