Hey All
So I noticed that I was having a major issue with the LITEON Dvd drives (iHAS324 Model) on Win 7... One day it works when you first install Win 7 and all that and then a week down the line, your device manager just sommer tjoons you "FSCK YOU" Device Error Code 10.
Eventually after consulting with a number of people, we came up with a solution to fix this problem, and it could possibly work on other Dvd Roms as well if this occurs to you on a regular basis.
Do the following:
go to regedit----------Local Machine-------System---------Current Control Set--------Control----------Class----------4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318---------Delete the registries that say Lower Filters and the one that says Upper Filters.
Restart your machine and things should be hundreds!!
