Loadout

The fact that you can craft your own unique weapon but i'm not gaga over it i actually have more fun watching people die in the game than playing atm seeing as the bots are kinda OP for beginners

I've found myself thinking the same thing, and I got BF4 for R200. Bought to play online with some friends but they don't play it much at all, just Dota 2.
 
The game takes no skill, is super silly and very entertaining. It's actually fun and that's why I like it :)
 
I actually think it could become quite strategic, with some gun configs being dedicated to support roles such as healing and buffing teammates. When playing in a party you could actually be quite devastating if you use a bit of strategy. For example in Blitz you could have a dedicated healer, a tank of sorts (with a shield equpped), an engineer (turret) all to hold onto points while the 4th could equip jump boots to grab capture points early or equip a sniping loadout (with sticky bomb proximity mines as a secondary) and provide support from afar.

Obviously these kind of strategies would only open up after you unlock the modifications, so it's kind of in the "late game" that things will get more complex.

There is a lot of potential in the competitive side of this game for sure.
 
Crap load a fun, but the other players skill level seems...low lol
I reckon anyone that is really good at twitch fps games like Quake and Unreal will do incredibly well.

So far I've played 3 rounds, racked up 33 kills and only 4 deaths, also I am only using the standard rifle.

All and all just a crap load of fun.

It should get better once you've levelled up a bit and come against guys who are a bit more skillful. I've also been doing fairly well and I'm not the best twitch fps player but it has been a bit more challenging lately now that I'm up a few levels.

Yeah I suppose, What lvl are you now?
I don't really want to lvl up because the main purpose of the game is to play it with my gf :P

Does get more balanced the higher you are. I am level 6 at the moment managed to get jeans as a daily reward :D
 
I'm enjoying this game so much, I felt it justified getting this:

well I gave it a shot this weekend, and I must say it's loads of fun! :D

except when you get matched up with a bunch of lvl 8+ players, then it's like the scene from Deliverance...
 
Okay fine!! When my Saints Row 3 download finishes I'll install this. Seems everyone is singing the praises of the game. What issues have you guys experienced?
 
I hope they fix the ranked servers soon. It's not so much fun when you're the only one in your team that tries to play the objective. I've especially noticed this in Blitz, where all my team mates just run around like idiots, and I'm the only one trying to capture the control points. There is only so much one guy can do vs four opponents coming right at him.

It's awesome when you end up in a team that know what they're doing though. It will probably be better to play with people I know, but I hardly ever catch anyone else online. :(

I enjoy it but like you said most of the times, guys just cock about, they don't really play for objectives.
Also my friends list seems to be broken in game, can't add anyone ect :(
