Local mirror for drivers

Hi there guys, does anyone know of a local mirror for the popular driver updates such as Nvidia/ATI XP/Vista? If there are none (to my knowledge there aren't), how about someone host them on a local server for us? Mygaming? hint hint*

Good idea. Though I don't mind downloading from INTL sites seeing as I allways get 400KBPS from Nvidia, Microsoft and AMD/Ati.

Is it free to redistribute? No copyright / liability issues?

Some companies don't like it when their files are being spread willy-nilly, possibly with viruses and then being sued because of it.

Best to found out first if it is cool with them, especially drivers.

MS I know will not allow this. That's why WindowsUpdate is there and most proxies in SA cache the updates anyway, so it should come down fairly quickly.

I only found out recently that I can download Nvidia drivers with local cap. I wonder why it is like this?

I think the ISPs who offer local only bandwidth have a route to allow you to download from some international sites. One of which being Nvidia. Also, I've noticed that they allow you to download PB updates in call of duty while on local bw. Just some value added services they offer us

I know axxess do it, but the local bw is mostly the same bw that they resell from saix anyway so maybe other ISPs do it too. I stand under correction.

NVIDIA now offers GFX drivers for Win 7 beta. That's where I download mine.
