Locally developed Desktop Dungeons cloned in iTunes

As an indie fanboi I must say, I reckon we do the following:

1. Pirate the game that these jackass developers come out with and I mean quickly!!
2. Find out the site link to Rodain Joubert and donate R10 per copy we pirate to him :)

There is the problem solved and he gets the royalties he deserves from his local and hopefully international community too :)

Rodain's a good friend, but Danny Day? The guy's always excusing piracy, saying it's free advertising. I know having your game cloned is something a little different, but I can't help wanting to tell Danny, "Hey, it's free advertising."

It is actually great advertising, but it's timing is kinda horrid. Maybe if the desktop dungeons was one month away from release it would of been a good thing.

But a clone will eventually always remain a clone, just take a look at HoN, it can innovate as much as it likes, but fans always gonna want DOTA2.

PS. I think it's time to start looking at pre-ordering.

Should have worked harder and faster on the iPhone version. Simple as that. It would be like Blizzard getting aggro every time a Diablo clone is released. If their version is better... it will prevail. If the other one is... it will win out. Simple. Welcome to the competitive landscape boys.

Edit: HoN innovates? There's news right there...
