Okay so today I managed to take the massive risk of breaking my cellphone and just did something I've been wanting to do for a while now:

I INSTALLED ANDROID 2.2 on my HTC HD2!!! :)

Goodbye Windows Mobile - you can go rot on a trash dump in the arctic for all I care!
 
Still waiting for Android update to 2.1 on the Xperia X10..unless I can r00t it..which seems impossible right now..
 
You can root the X10. The guys at XDA got that right two months back. They haven't been able to crack the boot loader yet, so no custom ROMs.
