look it's tombraider with a big sword (darksiders)

Don't get me started on DMC 4. I really wanted to play the game, but the rather shit save system put me off it completely. I played for about 2 hours and then saved my game and quit, only to return later to find that I had to replay everything from the beginning again.

Thanks for reminding me why I never went back to play more.

There's a game I can agree about being crap. It was archaic on so many levels and no amount of flash could hide that fact.

I liked DMC4 too, first time around I got stuck at the level with the spinning blades and took a big break from it. I was kinda put off when I found that I had to start over when I failed to kill that frog in time before real life kicked in.
Later on when I found myself without any games to play I went back and played it straight through (basically made it my mission to get good at it and to finish it). Heck DMC4 is the reason I got Darksiders, I wanted more...

I don't know, I personally didn't find any similarities between the two games although I admittedly didn't get very far with DMC4 before giving up and swearing to never touch it again. A friend of mine bought it secondhand the other day and he also stopped playing because of the crap save system. I was thinking of giving it another bash, but I already know how it's going to turn out ...
