Hey all,

Like the title says, can't afford to pay more then R2000 without compromising other purchases this month.

Maybe around 23inch or so,i wouldn't mind if it's a bit smaller.

Thanks
DC

yeah go for it. Personally I don't like the Acer brand much because I am very impressed and happy with Samsung so I wouldn't go for anything other than Samsung but if it suits your wants, needs and budget then its a winner.

Looks good to me. I like glossy screens and had my HP 19" one for around 5 years and never had a day of trouble with it.

I double checked,problem is that it's 60hz.

120hz ones are pretty expensive.

Yeah I thought it looked cheap for a 120hz monitor.
Well either save up another grand or so or go for this one and maybe regret it depending on how important 3d is to you?

I'm wondering if i actually need 120hz.

I don't game so much these days apart from league of legends and planetside2 but i would like an extra monitor for 3d modeling and reference images while drawing on my tablet.

I vote 120Hz if it's going to be your gaming monitor. A 120Hz refresh rate and a monitor with the Lightboost feature makes all the difference. If you're comfortable with things as they are now, you can stick to 60Hz.

As far as I know these monitors use electronic flickering to create their 3D images in which case it cuts your gaming session short. The technology places real strain on your eyes and can give migranes after 2 hours use.
