Lost Planet PS3

Anyone ever play this game on a PS3? It has to be the worst port I've played in my life. I have it on PC, but I never finished it so when I saw a secondhand PS3 copy today I thought I should get it because it would play better with a controller, man was I wrong. The controls are utter shit and the framerate is barely stable. The one time I don't read any reviews (because I've already played a few levels on PC and I loved it) I get the worst port ever. Oh well, I'll just go and trade it in again.

I was planning on getting Lost Planet 2 when it comes out, but I doubt if I'll still get it now.
 
Well I enjoyed it, just like I enjoyed Lost Planet on PC. Controls are good, graphics are good, gameplay is great, etc. I will, however, have to play it on a PS3 first before I even consider buying it.
 
That is wierd. Thought the PC controls were pretty solid - one would think that the controls would be even better with a controller. The game was after all an Xbox to PC port in every sense (what with the Xbox controller during the tutorials). Oh well, lets check out LP2 - pretty amped for that one.

That's exactly what I thought and exactly why I got the PS3 version when I saw. To me it looks like they ported it from X360 to PC and then from PC to PS3 :p
 
Lol - that games been ported in it's moer - next is the DS version ported from the PS3.
