Hey all,

Im really looking forward to this game and so far it looks pretty great to me ;D
heres some screenies and some more info.

In addition, we've received confirmation that the game is also going to arrive for the PC, next to the Xbox 360, of course, on October 7.

“Lucidity comes from our effort at LucasArts to form several small internal development teams and give them the creative freedom to make games that surprise, amaze and inspire,” said LucasArts President Darrell Rodriguez. “The re-imagining of The Secret of Monkey Island and the development of the all-new Lucidity are just the beginning of this effort.”

Here are the key features:

* Like a surreal children’s book come to life, get lost in mesmerizing dreamscapes detailed with beautiful hand-drawn contemporary art and a spellbinding original score
* Take a trip with the little girl Sofi as she drifts into a vivid dream world where, beckoned by the kind words of her grandmother, she learns to overcome her fears
* Skillfully place unique puzzle pieces designed to propel the little girl Sofi to and from suspended platforms, or over and under obstacles, in an effort to maintain her state of perpetual motion and deliver her to safety.

I didn't say I don't like platformers ;)

I don't like the concept or art style of this particular one :)

/hurls one one Jazz Jackrabbit at Lydon

Platformers aren't all bad ;)

I think it could be very entertaining if done well, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be :3

/me throws in some Bio Menace, Commander Keen, Dangerous Dave & Monster Bash for good measure!

*Keeps Contra & Double Dragon for his 2nd assault*

[UPDATE]

LucasArts' new Lemmings-inspired puzzle platformer, Lucidity, will walk onto Xbox Live Arcade and PC -- avoiding the trap of brick and mortar shops -- on October 7. Many of the game's developers are responsible for the The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, which updated the adventure classic for a new audience.

Heh... I've actually started taking a strange liking for indie-platform games over the last few weeks. Is kinda difficult not to look forward to this game :p

lol... World of Goo is my current addiction. I finally got all the OCDs in the first chapter, no idea how people manage to get ALL the OCDs in the game. It's insane. I want to get Braid next :3 And then there's AudioSurf :p
