Lurkers emit waves of super-dense spines against their enemies, having a full width of damage of ten meters. However, lurkers must actually burrow underground to release these subterranean attacks. Any warriors on the surface who are caught by these spines are instantly impaled. These spines themselves are capable of tearing into flesh, steel, and even reinforced armor plating. The spines can even be directed downward into open spaces, provided the lurker is underground. The only weakness of the lurker is that it is virtually defenseless while above ground

Lurkers gotta lurk to survive on the forum...

I'm a lurker offline as well. I never have much to say, always just listens or observe my surroundings. I guess that's why I'm lurking here. Also, busy at work, so no game-time, so nothing to say about gaming, really :/

Had to read this twice just to make sure...

Sure forum lurkers are fine, means we must be pretty entertaining :P

So I started the thread right before leaving for a short holiday, now it seems I haven't contributed as much to this thread as I would have liked. I see I have caused many people like me to show their faces for once, only to return to the shadows from whence they came.

They tend to pop-up during activity competitions.

Agreed, only reason I hate Lurkers

That is one of the main reasons I have decided to start posting more frequently, because I see all of these tasty activity competitions which I can't participate in. I then become sad that I can only enter the competitions where "new" users can just as easily enter as I can, and you guys know how many newbs join if there's a big comp(never to be seen again).

Been a lurker for 3 years now... Read the forum all the time though.

That's me exactly, I read the forum on a daily basis, yet only post when I absolutely have to.

I appreciate all your tips, hopefully I'll take them to heart and actually do something from now on.

I also lurk a lot. What's worse is that I often type a fairly decent sized reply in a lot of cases that I discard because I got distracted by something else.

I also lurked for quite a bit, but Nimatek's advice is the best. Just fall in and start posting and it gets a lot easier with time :)

Hope we can de-lurk some lurkers with this Lurkers thread :D
