For those wanting to grab Mad Max for the PC - seemingly the majority according to the OP poll - just seen that it's just been (eventually) listed on Steam and is now available for pre-order there: http://store.steampowered.com/app/234140/

Listed at $59.99 (= about R770 at the moment) and includes "The Ripper - an additional fully customizable Magnum Opus car body" as pre-order bonus content, much like the other pre-order offers.

That said, if you're not entirely Steam dependent and obsessive about having everything you play in Steam, CNA Online recently mentioned their pre-order for physical copies of Mad max via their online store is now available. And at R400 for the PC, picking it up from them makes a heck of lot of 'cents' to me :) even if you don't get the bonus car with it.

I'm pretty sure the retail version will activate on Steam as well. I can't find anything about it, but most other new WB games do.

And I see the download size on PS4 is around 35GB. Any idea what we're looking at on Steam?!

Recommended specs on Steam indicates only amount of HD space required - 32GB. Guess download size will be dependant on how well WB have optimised the PC version.

RECOMMENDED:
OS: 64 bit: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (3 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB Memory or higher)
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

looks like I made the right choice to go with the PS4 version. My PC not quite making the cut there

Just give it a rest Malice. This game is lame.

Stampeedy Knokshok. It races towards your enemy like the ancient behemoths of which only tales remain. Stampeding all opposition into the dust! Equip the Stampeedy Knokshok hood ornament to ram through your enemies with an added bonus to your Magnum Opus' Ramming.

that's awesome! but takealot still doesn't have it.

I don't think I get any pre-order bonuses with my CNA Online order :(

You should get the pre-order bonuses, I have often bought games from CNA on release day been surprised by getting the pre-order goodies.

What a coincidence, they had a similar pre-order deal on Arkham Knight, another WP published game which also looked awesome. "whistling:

The funny thing is I still have Arkham Knight in my library, despite getting a refund for it. :D

meh, hope they paid attention and working to avoid such a situation again....

Then again, that deal isnt that good, I saw on CNA's website, pre-order price for PC is R399. (GMG $29.99 x 12.70 = R381). Saves you from the download aswell if you are bandwidth currently disadvantaged..

The game looks so good....must resist...

Just remember it will still be the same game once the reviews come in, and probably even better after a couple of months when the price dropped, the only difference will be that you then have a better idea of whether it's worth it or not.

Yeah, thats another issue. What games do you buy on launch and which do you wait for to go on special. Guess it depends on how much you like the dev, I would for example purchase anything from id Software, DICE (cept for battlefront), inxile, bethesda and probably obsidian on launch.

But prolly a nice topic for a thread if there isnt one already. Which devs work would you pre-order/buy on launch day?

BUT, few things you have to consider:
1. not developed by Rocksteady Studios
2. not ported by Iron Galaxy Studios
3. spent more than a year in development

:D
