I am busy downloading the PC version from Steam now - cant wait to play this.

Hehe, I've done some sums in my head and by my calculation my download should be done between 9pm and 10pm tonight . I've been waiting for this game for some time. Can't wait to try the demo out.

Thats mildly disappointing. I'm just going to let the download finish anyway, since it's uncapped I might as well. Thanks for the feedback though.

is that the 1gb superclocked 460?


and that runs it on high with PhysX maxed?

But yes it does seem to handle the demo well with PhysX on high - but this is only a demo - whether it performs as well in the full game we will have to wait and see.

Well it's encouraging to see because according to the requirements released a while ago only an absolute beast of a machine could run it maxed out with PhysX on high.

Just played the demo. It runs like butter at 1920x1080 on my 5770 and it looks lovely. Gameplay is solid, vehicle handling tight and the difficulty is just what you'd expect from Mafia, if slightly easier due to the regenerating health. I'm even more amped for the game now, if that's even possible.

Other than that sounds fantastic.

Glad that you liked it Ise - its a big download for 10mins of gameplay but i'm also very happy with what I got to play in that short time.

Alan - Dont worry about the health regen if you get hit 2/3 times in quick succession your dead and if your shot from close range it seems to do even more damage.
