Hey there all, decided that I would post a little tutorial on how to make RoseZA work under Xfire. As those of you who have RoseZA and Xfire, it doesn't work manually or automatically detect the game. The reason behind this is that the Launcher.exe file is different to the one that Xfire recognizes, and the install path is different.
Ok, here's how to do it.
1.) Go to your RoseZA install folder, until you see the .exe called launcher.exe. Copy the file path. The default install folder for RoseZA is: C:\Program Files\Que\RoseZA.
2.) Now go to your Xfire install path. This is by default C:\Documents and Settings\Your_Username\My Documents\My Games\Xfire, where Your_Username stands for whatever the username is that belongs to those documents.
3.) In the folder you should see a file called xfire_games.ini. Open that file.
4.) With the File open, press Ctrl+F and enter "rose" into the search box. Click "Find Next" and it should take directly to the RoseZA entry. The entry should look something like this:
5.) Now you have to change the following lines in the file, to the values below:
LauncherDirDefault=C:\Program Files\Que\RoseZA
LauncherExe=launcher.exe
6.) In the LauncherDirDefault line, subsitute that path for wherever you installed RoseZA.
There you go, it should automatically detect RoseZA now!
On a side note, whenever you update Xfire, the .ini file will change back to it's default configuration, and you will have to go through these steps again. However, the Xfire team is working so that this doesn't happen.
