Malema released on bail

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema was released on R5000 bail early Friday morning after being arrested for speeding, Gauteng traffic police said.

"He was released this [Friday] morning just after 3am on R5000 bail," said spokeswoman Busaphi Nxumalo.

"At this moment it is not known whether he will appear in court today or Monday."
