By the way, the dude, his name was Rob Taylor. He was suspected of committing suicide shortly after this give away.

As far as I can remember, the guys then later sold the car and split the money.
 
Rob Taylor is a friend of mine's mo's boss. Or ex-boss for that matter. And yes he did commit suicide. I've met his mom actually, and well the lady is fine. But my friend's mom used to come home with some stories about some of the things this guy's done... not your average person.

In any case it's like tooken says, old thread. Old news... fogetaboutit.

Wow! Forgot about this story but sad to hear about the guy taking his life.

The fact that he gave car guards an Audi R8 should have sounded some alarm bells.
