Man tries to rob Modern Warfare 3 at gunpoint, fails hard

That is too sad dude, hahaha.

Attempted armed robbery, that is some desperation! And he's 18...massive fail.
 
maybe if he sold the gun and bought a copy..... he'd be online enjoying awesomeness instead of being ass raped.

So the real question is who is the bigger idiot... the gamer who wouldnt give up his copy or the gamer who tried to steal it at gunpoint....
 
Read some of the comments about people defending the guy defending his copy of MW3...jeez. I suppose the british are a different breed to us.

Where did you see it happened here? While we have gamestop here I was under the impression it was in an online capacity only. Also gun crime here is low, its more likely to be knife crime.
 
And I thought our criminals were pathetic.

Why is it that most criminals, terrorists and dictators are useless like that? Also, fingers crossed that it stays so.
 
An eighteen-year-old man is sitting in a jail cell today after attempting to rob a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at gunpoint.

The would-be attacker followed a 27-year-old midnight launch attendee from GameStop to his home. Once the victim parked his car, the attacker pulled up and boxed him in, before pulling out a gun and demanding the game. The game's owner refused to part with his copy, shouted an unknown expletive, and began to wrestle for control of the firearm.

Soundly defeated, the failed mugger wasn't put off. He fled the scene and returned to GameStop to find an easier mark. Naturally, cops had already been called at that point and the idiot was apprehended at the store.

Yet again I assert my theory that Call of Duty is The One Ring. People are going crazy over that shit.

There's something to be said for the mentality of FPS fanbois in all this, and it's not flattering :D
