The body of former president Nelson Mandela was lying in state at the Union Buildings in Pretoria shortly after 8am on Wednesday.

Police formed a guard of honour as the casket was taken from the hearse and carried into the building. People were seen waving flags and singing: "Mandela, my president."

The coffin had a glass top so that people could view Madiba's body.

I'm sorry but I think this is horrible the way they are parading his corpse around. even in death they won't let the man rest :mad:
 
I think they are trying to get as close to "Siener van Rensburg's" prediction as possible to scare the people in this country.

It seems to be the communist way. Look at Vladimir and stalin. They did the same thing.

I didn't even notice that part, seems like an opinionated statement, doesn't it? I'm beginning to doubt Wikipedia's reputation.
