Hi guys. Just wanted to know how many of you guys are maried and play games? What times do you normaly start and end? Its tough being married and you game lol.

Would be intresting hear how and when you make time for gaming.
 
Yeah it is indeed tough, And throw in a 1 year old! =D

I try and game every night from around 8 till 11. not always possible though. But yeah, stopped playing CSGO competitively due to family responsibilities =D
 
I play an hour an evening during the week. My wife gets the tv and watches her shows while I game on the pc.

During weekends I normally game on the XBox One and the tv when there's time.

It's all about compromise. :) Make time to be together and make time to be apart.

Also, get your wife a pc of her own if she doesn't have one and then you can both game at the same time.

Same here. After putting the kid down we either watch some of the shows we both enjoy or she watches her shows and I game.
 
Oh yeah, and wearing over ear headphones when gaming with a 1 year old also doesn't work!

Yeah their heads are probably too small for the headphones. They probably aren't that good at gaming either. At least you can easily beat them in Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.

Im married and finding time to game is incredibly hard... Its pretty much when ever the mrs is out, or i need to say to her, this is happening from here till here...
 
wow nice to read all your comments, My wife not into shows or go to bed early, so for me its a bit tough.

The key is communication and compromise. I'd game every waking moment if it was up to me. However the agreement is that I don't game while my son is awake and requires attention. I also don't game when my wife is awake and requires attention. Or when I'm eating. So at most it's 60-90 minutes here and there.

Thank man. Thats exacly what I do, game when wife and kid are asleep. But my prob at times I go to bed in the early mornings wich caused some probs. This only happens on some weekends
 
I usually game from 9-10:30. My wife will catch up on TV or get some marking done.
As a rule I made, when my 4month old daughter is awake or needs something I will switch off.
Have to put family first.
You can see a married man on CS:GO, he has racked up major time in game with min achievements, busy waiting to load up whilst performing the compulsory post coital cuddle.

Whoah, someone likes to live dangerously, sneaking a game after sex. My wife wasn't too impressed when I tried that one time.

Generally my wife watches her series while I fit in some gaming. There's a few specific nights as week that I play CSGO with the guys, so she knows those are my gaming nights. If I keep a decent balance between gaming and chilling together it's all good and I'll be able to pick up when I've gamed a bit too much!

Be careful when you shout 'frag out'.
On a serious note, I'm the only person in my immediate friendship circle to play online, so justifying a set time is difficult.
 
I think im lucky. My wife doesnt really care. She is much happier watching top chef or glee or something. My hardest work is getting her addicted to a series that has at least 6 seasons of 20 or more episodes per season.

Other then that i also try to be considered and spend time with her. Unless there is a really big release. For instance my wife is not going to see me in December because of FF XV. Like she didnt see me when witcher 3 launched.

the hubby and i both game.... on weekends is the only time where we take time out be sociable and will then most likely only game in the evenings...
