LOL! What difficulty you playing on? Had a 10min fight yesterday night on Insanity with a bunch of pirates. Cover was essential. But to answer your question yes. The whole cover system has been reworked, you now have to manually enter it ala GOW and there are now 200 animations for cover not just 20.
 
must've been playing on a lower diff... on the hardcore and insanity it's essential you use cover
 
I'm playing on normal so maybe thats why I don't have to use it :). Good to see that they are going to make some changes to it though.

Some? SOME!! SOME!!!!! They are making a K@K load of changes. They are revamping planetary exploration, the Mako , Combat, Invertory, Health even the weapons & biotic/tech abilities. This game is going to ROCK!

Well the coversystem is going to feel alot like GOW or for you PS3 guyz. Uncharted. Im getting this one on Xbox through. I loved the coversystem in uncharted, getting a headshot felt very satisfying.

A cover system like Uncharted sounds awesome to me :D.
 
I think i just jizzed in mah pants. I am so playing the soldier first time. Biotics can wait. I want those GUNS!

Notice how at the end of the movie he shoots something and there is a massive explosion? Looks like enviromental take downs make a huge comeback. Come on Jan 29th already.

Back to the which class to play topic.
My vanguard in ME1 is awesome and everything but the soldier was just so much more fun. Guess i will have to wait and see how the power recharge thing works in 2 to decide but im importing my soldier first.

Just got to the romancing Ashley part and i kinda like her more than Liara. She's a bit off putting before the romance but as you get to know her, via the romace, you kinda get why. I still love Liara to bits but im very fond of Ashley.
Lets just say Jade Shepard Loves Liara with all her heart but O'nic Shepard loves Ashley. Am i the only one who hates Alenko?
 
Rewatched the movie quick. From the look of the assualt rifle it looks like there will also be more variety between the different assault rifles. This is going to be such an awesome game.

Alenko is the most irratating of all me 1 companions. Only have him surviving in one save game.
