Mass Effect 3 is finished and going gold

Good stuff, at least one developer that's got it's shit straight and releases on time without endless delays. :)

Awesome! I can't wait for this one. I haven't ever anticipated anything as much as Mass Effect 3. Well maybe Mass Effect 2.

Same here. I nearly have a nerdgasm playing the demo. SO MUCH AWESOMENESS!!!

Jeez I would have loved to gooi the demo. I have a huge issue with the network adapter in my Xbox. It is now out of warranty and by repairing it at a games retailer over here will make it useless on Xbox Live (happened to my previous Xbox). Will have to wait for the game to come out. Seems like you are in the spirit there with the new avatar, Omegaboi?

LOL! I am a MASSIVE Mass Effect Fan so yeah, its sort of a tradition for me to switch to a ME related avatar in the weeks leading up to a new Mass Effect release.

Nice. Finally something worth buying again. First game I'm buying in months! Mass Effect never fails to impress.

Looking forward to this release, especially after finishing Mass Effect 2 again. Can't wait to try the PC demo out tonight. :D

Wow the demo blew me away. If there was any doubt before it's completely evaporated now. Roll on 9 March! :D

Since there's a whole lot of ME fans in one room, I just wanted to find out if it would be advisable if I start with ME1, then in sequential order play the others, Or just start with 3?.

I'd advise starting with ME1, since you can carry your character on towards the newer games, your story (and available companions) is also influenced by choices you made in the previous games. Also, the biggest reason of all would be... The story itself, sure you can figure it out as you go along, but it just won't be the same man...all those subtle references would be wasted ;(

Well just spent a good few hours with the ME3 demo multiplayer, and it rocks.

It's co-op horde style gameplay with persistent characters and unlocks. Combat is very smooth and exciting and the game mode itself has some interesting elements. You get mini objects during some rounds which include hacking terminals, defusing bombs or assassinating certain enemies.
