Mass Effect 3 metacritic user rating is getting bombed

Considering the game launched 5 hours ago in the States I find it incredibly hard to believe than people have spent enough time with it to give it a rating of one. For me personally nothing in the Demo showed anything but an Epic conclusion to an Epic series.
I have a sneaking suspicion this due to the new "play it your way" mechanics i.e. choosing action, roleplay or story. I'll wait until friday and Make up my own way.

Metacritic is ultimately flawed and a huge fail.
Just look at user scores; they either absolutely love the game, or they hate it and send the score to hell. There just seems to be no middle ground anymore.
To add even more poo to the fan, users just can't justify their scores. I remember seeing a COD4 score of 1, purely based on the users grievances that the developers haven't done anything new in the franchise. I don't know about you, but don't you think a score of 1 is better deserved for a game that is so fail that it's unplayable??

I disregard any user reviews.
How can you trust people that give a game 1 because it didn't have lean or gives a 10 because the graphics were good?
I'll read reviews and ask people whose opinions actually mean something.

Yeah I checked. One more reason that I think user 'reviews' (read: pointless ranting) should just be stopped all together.

You should go to IMDB and check out popular 'love to hate' movies, like twilight, and you'll see this huge polarization where tons of people either vote it 10 because they are fans or 1 because they are fans of hating the movie. It obviously has little to do with the content itself but rather the way people choose to identify themselves in relation to the content.

Rule Numero Uno leading up to a big release... stay the fuck away from anything relating to the release. Im tempted to watch the Gametrailers review but not sure if I want too.
