Mass Effect 3 multiplayer stats unleashed

Wow that is a lot of soldier, people with no imagination ekse. At least in ME3 (even 2) the soldier was still decent, ME1 it was pretty boring.

Also the Soldier is no use on any difficulty over silver, it can't take down shields and isn't that effective against armour. I reckon to get through gold is only possible with a team of Engineers and Asari and Drell Adepts.

I've found engineers to be the most diverse class for MP and an almost absolute necessity on the higher difficulties. Classes that can't deal with shields and armour are irrelevant on silver and gold.

I'm not surprised at how few made it to the end on gold, the best I've managed was 3 wins on silver and that against Cerberus who are the weakest of the 3.

Wow, it's a lot more popular than I was anticipating. For once, it's not simply a tacked on checklist feature, like most MP parts of predominantly SP games.

Also, when the hell am I finally going to unlock my Turian? :<

Don't get too excited, Turians can't even dodge... Not so good when you are face to face with a Brute... :/

:O

Granted, my Quarian engineer can't really dodge either. She just sidesteps slightly, which doesn't help much if you're in the path of the Brute's charge.

My Drell Adept's dodge ability also looks really cool, but sadly, I find the most effective dodge ability to be the standard jump-out-of-the-way one. It clears the most ground.

I guess I mostly just want a Turian because I absolutely love the Turian race. :p

I also went Soldier but only because I got a Battlefield 3 Soldier for playing BF3. I may experiment with the other classes since there is no restriction on amount of Characters you can make. The only part of the MP I dont like is the "Lucky Packet" item purchases. Give me a good old fashion store and just balance the cost so that players can't buy the best weapons right off the bat.

I'm playing Engineer in MP (and RL :P) atm and really enjoy it, just feels like you have a lot of options to play around with.

I wouldn't mind the lucky packet system if it actually gave me decent items from time to time. I've bought like 3 Spectre packs by now, and about 10 Prestige packs, but I'm still stuck on the original assault rifle, level 1.

All my lucky draws ever gets me is XP for current classes and the occasional upgrade to a secondary weapon like an SMG or pistol.

The Engineer's turret ability is a life-saver. I maxed it asap, and it's really useful for when two or three brutes are approaching in that it helps keep them busy while your entire team fires away at them or when you're swamped with lesser enemies and can't deal with the stronger enemies immediately.

I'm loving my Asari Vanguard. I spent some time playing MP on Saturday and got the character up to level 18 I think. I'm really enjoying the MP side of the game, so I'll probably spend some more time on it.

Although the Turian cannot dodge which usually gets me killed in intense situations, I do like that he has both the Overload and Warp abilities which makes him quite versatile for me to use against any enemies the server throws at me.

Has anybody gotten a sniper rifle that can fire more than once every 10 seconds? That is quite frustrating and I've bought about 3 lucky packets of each type already. All I've gotten is one upgrade for the sniper rifle and some pistols and quite a few shotguns. Nothing that I actually use except for the medigels.

I'm beginning to understand the frustrations mentioned by someone before about multiplayer... the part of having to play with other people. A couple of times I realise that we're getting our asses kicked and when the game ends, then I notice we haven't been a full team the whole time.

I've got a new semi-automatic sniper rifle, but the damage is really low, so I stick to the one-shot sniper for the most part.

Finally made it through a game against the Reapers on silver difficulty.

3 Engineers and one infiltrator, but I have to admit the engineers were doing the majority of the work. It got really close to wipes at some points but some good communication and coordination wins the day.

Might be ready to tackle gold next. "whistling:

Against the reapers, I still get killed on Bronze if one of my teammates abandon us. Against the Geth we actually survive with just 3 players. I think I'll practice a bit more before I try the silver.

Yeah, it's hectically easy to take down an Atlas. The problems start when barriers get involved.

Barriers are not a problem with overload and in the case of last nights game we had 3 people with overload and incinerate, so armour and barriers went down fast.

A lot of people forget about shield restore and rocket launcher items which came in rather useful in round 10 when we had to remain in a hack zone and they were throwing Banshees, Berserkers and Ravagers in droves at us.
