Mass Effect 3

Yup, Yup and I've made plans to delay playing Mass Effect 3 for a month or so after it's release. :D (Ordered Mass Effect 2, which I'll get just before the release of 3)

The logic is simply that EA games generally launch as buggy as a beetle. So, it will be horrible to install ME3 only to find out it's not finished. So, ME2 will keep me entertained while I wait for the first patch. :D

EA Slogan : It's not done, but it is on time!

No idea where you get that from. Haven't heard of any recent EA game that was buggy. Battlefield 3 maybe but half of that was from the whole battlelog thing.

Hmmm... recent? As in the last year or two.. I can't recall any serious bugs either. Perhaps they turned a new leaf. This calls for some investigation! :)

Perhaps my track record of EA Games and their huge patches is a little dated.

I'll be buying this on launch week despite not playing the demo or the Origin thing; I already have Origin due to BF3 anyways. I've played through ME1 and 2 with two characters now so I'm keen to see how BOTH stories pan out due to different choices along the way.

And the multiplayer? Bring. It. On.

You are kidding right?

I have only one puplishing house which I have sworn to never buy from again and that is EA. I will be pirating ME3. I just love the story!

I have no justification. Just a personel little FU to EA for repeatedly selling me "working products". "Working as intended" generally means it's broken but we have your money so QQ more. :D

Sigh... even though I say all this I have a SWTOR sub which will run for as long as I love Star Wars and can handle the games bugs(Battlefield 3 bugs x 1billionfufillionsmigeldyblooo...bla.....YEN). So they do get some of my money. This makes me cry.

/rant

I CANNOT WAIT FOR ME3! :D :D :D

How do you feel about Ubisoft?

Or, you know... you could just buy it and then pirate it. At least you would've done the honourable thing :)

If you really want to give a publisher the big "FU," piracy isn't going to be what does that. You're only going to validate the exact reason they take such measures. If you want to give them the big "FU" then don't play their games. Don't buy it and don't bother pirating it.

I abhor Ubisoft. I refuse to touch their games. If a game has the Ubisoft logo on it, my interest switches off.

What I can say is that ME3 will be the first and last game I buy that uses Origin. If I can help it.

And I certainly haven't heard of Bioware games that released in an overly buggy state either. Mass Effect 1 and 2, Dragon Age 1 and 2 released in almost perfect condition, so I don't see that ME3 wouldn't either.

Well, some idiot over on the Bioware forums just spoiled the DLC character for me. To say I'm pissed is putting it mildly.

Yup, don't know what people are going on about, maybe they just like to complain about EA. Sure I like to complain about them as well but for stuff they actually mess up. :)

Uuuuurrrggg... the Ubichrist

Don't get me started. I bought Anno and started peeing blood after two days.

I have nothing against the quality of the majority of EA titles but some are just rushed, I would have hapily waited till easter for BF3 as to not have it compete with MW3 at christmas and actually having a working game. In saying this I know it is working well now, I play it every day, but still. The first month of owning the title I must have re-downloaded it about 20 times. I literally had to go and buy a soundcard as it would freeze up my pc when using the onboard. And this is an issue which dates back to Bad Company... so not something they don't know about?

Why do the worst companies own the best intelectual properties?!?

I just drank the new 710ml monster energy drink can and I think I can feel my eyes fizzing..:wtf:

That's odd, BF3 seems to be the exception to the rule, but I find that most EA titles are really well polished and released in excellent condition.

Been playing it like a beast since saturday... LOVING it!!! my only issue so far is that every now and then when you go into cover you get stuck in cover and nothing but reloading to main menu will get you out. But overlooking that... I WANT WORK TO FINISH SO I CAN GO PLAY!!!

Anyone want to try some multiplayer? My Galactic Readiness is already 100% but I want more Spectre packs!!!
