Mass Effect: Andromeda

I have to say last night was lots of fun, even if I get kicked out of the game constantly every now and then
 
I was playing the "test version" on PC, but I was enjoying it so much that I traded in a bunch of old PS3 games today and bought the PS4 version. Can't wait to try out the multiplayer. :D I wanted to buy Pc version but since it's the same price on both platforms I went for PS4 version instead.

Im available most evenings after 8pm for some multiplayer - so just say hi on origin and i am more than willing to leave the campaign for more MP fun

I may or may not have had a similar experience (except PC) >.>

The Origin version also seems to have picked up my test version files, so I won't have to re-download 50GB. :D

Edit: 2GB update, probably to get to version 1.0.5

Haha, nice. I'll keep that in mind. I eventually want to buy the PC version as well since I have the original trilogy on Pc, but I'll wait until it's really cheap like on a sale or something.

I might be available for the last time today if there are more people willing to join us. (Going on leave on Wednesday).
Not great playing with strangers. The lag is horrible and then you get some idiot who just join and leave their character there without playing. I suppose he is hoping that the rest of the team makes it so that he gets free experience or something.

I finally finished the campaign though.

Yeah lag is terrible on console as well, probably because it uses P2P matchmaking. I have found that hosting a public game sort of makes it better since you do not lag when you are hosting, but then people enter the game and leave because they lag. :(

I did find a flaw; the test version was the deluxe version of the game, and I bought the standard version. So now my single player saves don't work :(
Aaand there's no deluxe edition upgrade available, even though EA/Bioware said there would be one.
So my options are to wait for a upgrade, or to start over...

Ekke is onskuldig! Die goed breek net :p

Ek het besluit ek gaan nie wag nie, en het net 'n nuwe playthrough begin. Is klaar verder as wat ek was; het op Eos aangekom en net so paar goete gedoen in die starting area voor dit slapies tyd was.

Sover is die game fun, ek notice nie die facial animations nie, want ek het subs aan en ek kan nie nie subs lees as dit aan is nie, so dit werk vir my.

Een ding wat my annoy is dat baie cutscenes nogsteeds nie skippable is nie; ek is baie bly die galaxy map dele is nou skippable, ek kan net imagine hoe annoying dit moes wees voor die patch. Ek soek skips vir al die cutscenes though.

Op pc druk jy space - die cutscene skip wys nie altyd nie - maar jy kan skip as jy space druk
 
Ek kry ook sekere cutscenes wat nie kan skip nie. Nou nie meer 'n issue nie want ek is uiteindelik verder as wat ek PC was, maar dit was annoying om klomp goed weer te sit en kyk.

Dit kan die eerste stories wees, alles na dai kan geskip word - ek is sad om te admit maar ek skip deesdae van die random kak convos.

Ek is nou op 45% completed storyline, maar ek doen minimal van die additional tasks.

Eos, Havarl en Voeld is 100% completed, Kadara is 78%

Jip. Soos Mr Wlad se, jy kan steeds nie almal skip nie. Ek het spacebar so baie gemash, ek is seker ek het my keyboard se leeftyd verminder. Al die pre-rendered cutscenes kan jy nie skip nie, elke keer as jy gaan land op 'n plant of opstyg, kan jy nie skip nie, byvoorbeeld.

Ek moes al die intro crap weer kyk want ek kon dit nie skip nie, maar also as per Wlad, ek is nou verder as wat ek was, so nou gaan dit nie meer 'n issue wees nie.

Also, space is altyd skip, maar nie wanneer jy planet hopping doen in die galaxy map nie. Dan is Tab skip. Why u do dis?
