Massive Battlefield 3 patch deploying for PC tomorrow

Man, I haven't even played since before the last patch. I reckon I will remain awol until the DLC hits mid December...
 
Ooooh, wonder how long it is going to take me to upgrade from vanilla to latest patch! Looking forward to playing it once I go and collect my copy today.
 
Bleak about the 12 frag ammo being nerfed on the auto-shotties. Was hellova fun suppressing locations & people from afar with that, but not not very effective. So even less effective now? shame.

Hopefully this tweak stays with PC only.

I've put this on the shelf temporarily whilst I blaze through Skyrim, but will get back in as soon as the DLC drops!

The game is legend.
 
still didnt fix the auto join for squads ... damn fools ... i see they took notice of the helis being invincible and increase the flare reload time, guess the pilot and gunner have to work together now which is a good thing
 
The fix on the mines is long overdue. And hell I hope they nerf-bat the hell out of the P2000. Tired of seeing that gun in everysingle kill message. Cookie Cutting is so 2009.

Yeah, it's absolutely crazy how these tiny little sub machine guns are so deadly over anything more than 50m. There is no way a weapon like that would be accurate or deadly enough to drop you with the speed it does ingame.
 
I thought it was 2gb, it is showing 3.9gb downloading.
Does anyone know if you are able to download this via Webafrica freezone?
 
Downloading it now. It's quite a hefty download and I'm glad that I'm not on one of those throttled accounts right now.
 
I was expecting the patch last night already, so was quite relieved when I only had to update about 400MB :)
