Massive yahoo data leak

Thread Killer Mk VIII
Yahoo today confirmed it’s working with law enforcement to investigate a data breach which affected the account information of “at least” 500 million users. The company says that the user account information was stolen from its network in late 2014 by what it now believes to be a state-sponsored actor.

So basically the biggest data leak in history.

Stolen information includes:
Names
email addresses
telephone numbers
dates of birth
hashed passwords
security questions (some encrypted some not)

Wonder if its linked to my skype sending fishy links to 6 of my contacts (some not even skype contacts) a couple days ago. Both skype and yahoo account of mine use my very first internet password (since changed once this happened).

ah well..

How would it get control of your skype?

Well, that explains why I got spam from my friend... They also used an evangelist's domain for sending the email, and put the phishing URL on some concrete company's website.
