Max Payne 3

Wanted to start a thread on max..
I honestly could not find anything wrong with the game, sure i finished it under 11 hours but it was a good 11 hours of play, didnt feel like an unfinished product, textures, voices, everything felt like The Max payne and not some nock off like the movie.

Just the multiplayer system seems a little screwed...

To be honest, I didn't have high hopes for the multiplayer anyway. It seems that everybody is trying to push some kind of multiplayer onto a story driven game these days. Fair enough, Mass Effect 3's turned out to be quite ok and the MP is probably the only reason I'm still playing the game... but if they didn't screw up the ending / replayability of the single player game, I'd still be busy playing and replaying that and wouldn't have been bothered with the MP part at all.

Yeah good point, however rockstar has started this trend since gta iv so its nothing new, however the mp game modes are pretty sweet from my experience.its just as usual lag is always and will always be a problem, thats why im going to be really sad when the new gta comes out.you get fantastic physx system but its destroyed by the lags....

I don't mind if a game has MP pushed onto it just as long as it does not effect the SP, Rockstar has not fallen into that trap :).

R* always provides a solid SP experience along with MP, love R* :D!

Good point. Didn't even think of that.
But I would have rather saved the R50-R70 they charged extra than what new games normally cost and not have the multiplayer that I don't really care for anyway. I tried the MP out for 10 minutes, got bored, moved on.

SP was good though. I would have liked to get a game with Max being a little "younger" or still in shape. Something in the period between Max Payne 2 and this one. They'll probably still do that in a prequel to this one... but at the rate that Max is ageing, if they made sequel that takes place after this one, he'll probably be stumbling over his crutches during bullet-time.

Hmm, that goes on my mind... Is the same group creating GTA V and Max Payne? Cause if yes, we can obviously say that R* tried to make max payne only Singleplayer side good, what if that happens with GTA V? I think, obviously we all want to see GTA V with good multiplayer. I really wouldn't like to see that happens?

So questioning again: Is the same group creating GTA V and Max Payne?

Rockstar San Diego (The studio behind Red Dead Redemption) is helping with the development of GTA V on both the PS3 and Vita :D!

So I'm more that sure that the MP will be excellent hey, RDR's was the best Sandbox MP experience (Outside of a MMO) by far.
