Maxis working on new "triple-A simulation style game"

As long as it resembles the gameplay of simcity2000 and not the titles after it :) But woot! New Sim City! (Hoping anyway)
 
Hmmz but if it is multi-platform, will it be as awesome as Simcity 2000 was? and what does it mean when a game is AAA these days? just an insane budget?
 
Actually recall Will Wright saying he will be busy on soething completely different.... or is that with his new studio or something or am I just talking out of my nose.
 
I would prefer another city building game along the lines of Caesar III & IV and Pharaoh
 
Oh hell yes! I hope this turns out to be a SimCity game (as mentioned in the article, Sim City Societies doesn't count). I still play Sim City 4 to this day and I reckon that something like that will be HUGE with gamers today. Can you image the epic modding community that this will spawn?
